A Bump in the road?

March 5th, 2012, 7:27 am · 1 Comment · posted by

A caller on Sunday wasn’t too happy with the comic Speed Bump by Dave Coverly. It’s part of our Sunday Comics package which is put together at our sister newspaper in Gastonia. It’s not a comic we run every day — Sunday only.

The caller felt the comic was inappropriate and maybe even a little out of date with a reference to one of Grimm’s Fairly Tales. I wasn’t offended by it myself. Then again, I grew up on The Far Side.

Here’s the panel. You make the call.
